Quick Battery Question.

Is the image the age of the battery?? So 09/19. Volt meter gave me 12.3 on cold, standing overnight with 13.5 with engine running. Battery warning comes on when not running and using even minor electrics, eg radio. Feels like a change of Battery needed before winter. Any recommendations, car is a 09 23i (no start stop). Thanks

I just fitted a Varta, the date code was etched in the plastic near the negative terminal, not on the terminal itself. 19/09 means week 19 of 2009, that's old

Based on the BMW branding in the top left that will be the originsl battery so a new replacement seems long overdue.

For the last few batteries I've bought I've always used www.tayna.co.uk just stick your reg in and you'll be presented with a list of suitable options all with a 3 or 5 year warranty.
