Queues

It seems like Britain is becoming a nation of queues, everywhere we are allowed to go With social distancing there is a queue. So While doing a little gardening to it suddenly occurred to me that with many people occupying their time in the garden and the Sunniest April on record, could we be heading to the return of stand pipes and queuing for water, there are already adverts on the radio advising using a bucket to wash the car with and not a hose pipe.

Queuing is a very British thing something the older generation take more seriously so have no problems with waiting in a que but its not something I have seen taken so seriously in other countries I have visited over the years and now days when waiting for a bus is a free for all when one turns up have to get the elbows out

Have not seen anything from Thames water about hoses well not yet but you can wash a car carefully a panel at a time with a hose and not use a whole lot more water as long as its not filthy dirty needing a good blast of water to shift as much crap before touching the paintwork with a mit

Absolutely despise the queues :headbang: I went to the supermarket at 9pm Friday because that's usually the quiet time, but unfortunately in this occasion it was packed and I had to queue for 20 minutes, during which time some absolute moron behind me decided to sneeze everywhere, then got arsey with me when I asked him to cover himself or go elsewhere. he eventually went back to his car and let his wife queue.

These idiots are the reason why it's spread so quickly. He blamed Hayfever, but you can have the virus without knowing, so why would he be shopping in that case?

I can’t say I’m a fan of the queues but what can you do.
I braved a branch of Squires garden centre yesterday. Queue to go in, have to weave and snake round the car park and sanitise and have to have a trolley at all times, regardless of what you wee buying. Fair enough.

Once inside though, people didn’t care at all. All bunched up at the end of aisles. People wandering about and stood looking at plants in the way of everyone else. I grabbed the couple of bits I needed and got out, although, not after queuing for 15 mins at the tills.
