Questions about my new Z

Extended storage i 3 x cup holders and net on passenger footwell, dont think it includes anything else, maybe the seat back compartments, I use none of them.

Aux would not be standard on 04, can be done easily, buy one for Mini, half the price IIRC

Hehe, i know, it was just that it had the pack and I was intrigued. There really is not a lot of room in the Z4 - my car usually looks like a tip, back seats full, boot full. Wont be able to do that anymore!

???

You will find though, because there is no room to keep stuff in the car, it does not get messy.

The pockets in the door are next to useless, and the storage behind the seats is inaccessible unless your seat is far forward, so the car seems to stay tidy, no matter how messy you usually are :)

I find the pockets in the door quite useful - sunglasses, keys, wallet etc. The other half finds the sweet wrappers fit right in too

I'm with you on the sweet wrappers :D

I stick my sunglasses in the hole just in front of the storage unit between the seats, and spare change in the well of the hand brake. I did find a marshmallow in the cubby hole behind my seat a while ago. One of my daughters had put it there and forgot about it. Luckily it didn't make a gooey mess

I also found a yo-yo and some Hanna Montana Top Trumps cards under the seat once, so maybe it is bigger inside than we all think

Coupes-sunglasses go overhead/center. I've found that storage bin behind the seats is definitely bigger than it looks! I've also notice that things slide UNDER the seats easier than any car I've had before-annoyingly so.

I've found that I have had to get cash that's fallen out of pocket from down the side of the drivers seat.

Emptied it out today and found around £15 in coins! Tok around 10 minutes to get all the coins.

Storage space is pretty useless in the Z4. Always found that I prefer less crap in the car that isn't required. No eating, drinking or smoking either.

This shouldn't be a problem with the Audi S3 that comes in the next few days as I'll be able to get into the back and retrieve any coins easily.

You can purchase under seat cabinets that give you a little more room. I have two in my Zed one under each seat. If you want storage room, get something else, this is a sports car not a grocery getter. My wife’s PT-Cruiser has lots of storage space. :(

I have my seat lowered fully, so there wouldn't be room for under seat storage surely?

for around £10 you can purchase the first aid box from your local dealer and fit to your driver seat for additional storage

first aid kit no included though.

Like hell this car is not a grocery getter. It IS THE PERFECT grocery getter IMO. With an empty trunk you can fit a lot of groceries in there. About the only thing that goes up front is bread, and then it's on the floorboard. A more fun grocery getter there is not.
