I’ve got a 2006 3.0si Coupe with 180k km. Next winter, I think I’m gonna install a Quiafe LSD, and I want to replace diff and rear subframe bushes at the same time, as well as any other things I ought to do while the backend is in pieces.
I am assuming I’ll need to take the exhaust off, disconnect drive shafts and prop shaft, and all that stuff. Does anyone know if it is possible to do all this without dropping the diff and/or subframe totally? Any shortcuts?
As said, I’m going to install Quiafe LSD, replace diff and subframe bushings, but is there something else I should do while I’m at it? I need to change at least one oil seal in the diff, since it seems to be leaking a bit, but is there something else I ought to do while I’m in the diff? Also, probably will replace guibo and prop-shaft bearing. Anything else?
