Question service pack

Yip on all BMW and Mini models. There is two versions one just for servicing and one that covers servicing and stuff like wipers etc.

Unfortunately low mileage cars only get a service every two years, the five year thing is just a carrot on the end of the stick!

.......but it also includes brake fluid change very 2 years and free oil top ups as required :)

You still need a oil and brake fluid change every 2 years. The service pack will cover the first oil service at 2 years, the first brake fluid at 3 years (changed by BMW from 2 years) and then another oil change at 4 years including filters and spark plugs (although 'conditioning based' they still change it all so defeating the purpose of advising they only changed what needs done) and the last brake fluid at 5 years.

So if you do lots of miles you use it quicker otherwise you still get the same servicing be it if you've got a low millage runner or a high millage runner.

I'm sure my car had oil and brake fluid changed at two year then again at four!
They changed the regime from 2, 2 and 2 to 3, 2 & 2

That's why my year 5 will be a waste unless I can swing a top up kit from the deal

Your not missing out Ron, You get 5 services as does someone who has the 2 year first oil service and the 3 year first break fluid. You get oil and brakes at 2 years and then again at 4, plus the silly check over service that they do. If you had bought now you'd get oil at 2 years, brakes at 3, oil at 4, the stupid check over service at 4 years and then brakes at 5.

I think you'll find the hat although it's 5 years or 60k it only covers 2 oil changes and 2 brake fluid changes. If you happen to use them all up before 4 years because you exceed 60k then you won't get that check over service as its expired as per the deal. Unfortunately if you have a warranty you need BMW to do this check over type service to keep the warranty cover.

As I didn't pay for the 5 year service pack on my car I am not complaining ... no matter how many services :)
