Question on the side sill at the door

I need to get under the carpet to run a loom. i'm trying to remove the cntre section of trim that runs around the door where the carpet goes under. I'm assuming it unclips somehow but after giving it a tugg and it not budging i'm not so sure!

Has anyone taken this trim off before? i eventually need to take it all off up to the footwells on both sides.
