Question on O2 replacement Bank 2, Sensor 1 (Top)

I was wondering how hard is it to change the sensor. It looks like I can just use an O2 wrench and unscrew it and then screw in the new one. Is there anything I need to look out for when doing this? BTW, which Bank is #2? 3-6 cylinders counted from which end? The water pump is the front side?

The replacement BOSCH sensor part number shows it to be the one with the grey wire.

The dealer wants 1 hr labor and it looks to be a 10 minute job.

Thanks

You are correct. It is a 10 minute job.

You do need an O2 sensor socket. Its about $12.00 at AutoZone or such....

An extra lone socket extension helps too.

The B1S1 and B2S1 sensors (both pre-cat sensors) are different. One is $80.00 and the other one is $110.00. Not sure of the reason.

Bank 1 (B1) are cylinders 1-3. Cylinders 4-6 are bank 2 (B2)

Referenced from the front.

The B1S1 and B2S1 sensors are the Pre-cat sensors. B1S2 and B2S2 are the post-cat sensors.
