question on audio system

I have the standard bmw headunit but with the Bluetooth extra in the centre console iv connected to my phone but am I right in saying it's only for calls, not for audio streaming?
Plus the headunit lists a aux mode is this purely for when using the bluetooth as I havnt seen any aux port input anywhere, dying to death with having to deal with one CD aha

Phone is for calls only, no streaming.

Your aux will be either in the glovebox, or if you feel with your hand along the panel under the a/c controls
