I have recently installed a GROM BT3 behind the head unit of my Professional Nav. The sound works great, the track information appears on the nav screen and I can control it from my steering wheel... all should be well with my world, BUT...
When I am using the bluetooth music streaming, I can't do anything else on the screen, when I try and use another function after a couple of seconds the screen flicks back to the CDC interface. I also can't close the Nav screen as once again, once closed a couple of seconds later it opens again.
It seems like the GROM is constantly refreshing the interface back to the CD screen... I wouldn't be concerned but I have just updated the maps to use the satnav (i like the retro look and having my Z looking like it came out of the factory)
To be clear I have the HIFI system, Professional Nav, CD changer (now disconnected) I have wired the GROM unit into the BUS, 12v and Earth cables in the back of the head unit and plugged in the 10pin plug to the 12 pin socket. All works well apart from this annoying re-fresh behavior... any help or shared experience would be good. Am I just going to have to live with it?
