question for coupe owners

Dear Coupe owners, when you photo your car to sell it -- why do so many take the pic from the angle that makes the coupe look as much like the roadster as possible ? You know the one - ground up from the front so no one can see the tin top.....

Also, in the advert, If i tick the "roadster" filter, I still get tons of coupes - but the reverse never happens

I think coupe owners secretly think the roadster is prettier and that most prospective owners want a roadster

im sure this discussion has done the rounds a million times - but it is really irritating

I think i might be feeling irritating this morning and the missus is out .... :fuelfire:

No - I dont think i do want a coupe - I often look at 3.0 roadsters and z4mr, and im just amazed at how many coupe owners try to disguise their coupes as roadsters
 
I am very proud of my Tinskin and ensure it is in each and and every photo of my wee beastie :thumbsup:

I have no intention of selling my coupe so all my photos are just for my pleasure!

In fact I am going to go and clean it now and then I might take a photo just to irritate you even more. :rofl:
 
Try looking at Pistonheads classifieds for Z3M Coupes (as I do most days)... The cheapest car in the coupe listings is usual a ragtop :P

so - take a look on pistonheads or autotrader

how many coupes are photographed from ground level toward the front wing - its the one angle that makes the tin top hardest to see ??

I say that any Roadster owner who photographs the car from the front at ground level is trying to hide the tarpaulin flapping around above the cabin in a mad fit of coupe envy :poke:

Exactly. The front end of the car is nice and this is starting to become a bit of an industry standard. Low sports cares always look good from the ground up.

I find it really annoying the amount of roadsters that show up when I'm looking only for coupes!! :headbang:

All the adverts you put up from A/T were trade sellers, who don't have a Scooby Doo! They just snap away without realising because to them it's just another car. They are blind to that rear end and sexy lines of the Coupe...

And again on PH, the roadster section has Coupes in because the trade sellers are thick as pig sh!t and don't know what they're doing. You wouldn't catch a roadster in the exclusive Coupe section, PH admin just wouldn't accept or allow it, would be a crime against humanity (or carmanity).

Everyone knows the Coupe is better looking, you will see lots of people 'upgrading' their roadster to the Coupe, but not the other way around because that's a downgrade...Why do you think Coupes sell for more??!

Woody . seein as how its xmas & you're pretty handy on the mouse do you fancy doing a black coupe with silver roof & mirrors ? was avin crazy thoughts earlier while washing it :cry:
