Question about exhaust tips & private plate

Just give them a pull, my coupe ones came off just like that....and no hole where a bolt would have been :thumbsup:

Believe pre facelift ones were bolted on, but coupe was always post facelift.

The OEM ones I bought for my wife's had no screw, just friction spring, just like my coupe ones.

Is yours pre or post facelift?
 
mine were not held on with a screw, just spring clips, they are tight but after a bit of a twist they come off
 
That's why you have a bolt :thumbsup:

MM ones do look great, but wanted OEM look for the wife, but agree it is pricey - expected 2 for the price, but didn't read the details too closely & just had to order a second :cry:

My advice regarding the Irish number plate is don't buy one - they look soooo cheap and are more at home on a clapped out imported SUV on a council estate!

I passed a coupe very similar to yours with black roof on the way to work yesterday in the Newcastle area :driving:

I'm in Newcastle mate. Roof only went on yesterday afternoon though. Not sure what time you go to work.

That won't help with the tip cover that needs cleaning up.

As said these just pull off, retaining screw involved. However you will not get them perfect as they are a satin finish which will be removed by the cleaning process.
