Quality....my a**e..!!

I’ve always bought cheaper petrol equipment for garden stuff, hard to justify Stihl unless it’s your job, apart from a lawn mower, but having had what is truly a nasty pile of Russian crap leaf vac, yesterday I bought a Stihl, buy cheap buy twice is my philosophy with hand power tools so I thought no, I’ll get the best.....or so I thought....assembled it this morning, went out to play on the drive where after two mins Mr postie thrust a bundle of junk mail in my hand, then the gestapo came out to take said mail off me, looked at it, muttered something about a pile of junk, then she proceeded to back straight over my brand new, run for two mins toy. Well ok, these things happen, but I was pretty miffed that this ‘King of tools’ couldn’t take a mere 2 and half tons of RR Evoque being parked on top of it.....seems even Stihl have sold out to cheapness..... :x :headbang:

That’s Stihl consumer level though, the professional level will survive a caterpillar driving over it....possibly :poke:

Buy cheap buy twice works for me. Most stuff like this doesn't get used enough to break. Different buying something I am going to use every day. Then I buy the best I can afford.

I bet it was your fault! :tumbleweed: just own up and take the blame. Happy wife, happy life.

You know it's always going to be your fault, John.

Tape out and back up and running within 5mins MrT....

You know what I always say about tools, you only need a hammer, a screwdriver and 10 rolls of gaffa tape in the trade....anything else is just unnecessary baggage....

Result, but you really need to add cable ties to your tool-kit!
