Maybe it's time to negotiate a group buy / forum discount with Birds... I doubt my kids want any Christmas presents this year anyway!
 
They did a deal less than a year ago so they might not be up for it. It will likely depend how many people took it up before, trouble is there's a lot of talk but much of it cheap...
 
I organised the group buy last year - James I'm sure will consider a group buy with enough numbers wanting one :)
 
It’s a shame M factory upped their price of their diff. I paid £700 delivered for my diff from them. Great quality rated to 1000bhp and a ten year warranty. Actually easy to fit if you have the correct tools.
 
Ok, have now done about 500 miles on this and I bloody love it. I can now pi$$ all over my mate in his 350 brake focus st when leaving roundabouts and on our fave twisty country lanes. He just cannot get the power down conning out of tight bends and roundabouts etc. Yes he catches me up, but it hacks him right off!

The car is so much more controllable under power now, and I find myself turning the traction right off rather than half off as I normally drive as the diff just sorts it out and gets the power down.

It has however 100% made up my mind that I will be supercharging it, as I need more power now..

Glad you like it - make the car so much more fun and, like you say, just gets the power down so much better. Power is nothing without control!
 
You need to use the brakes and throttle in unison to improve your elevens , although your neighbours may complain about the smoke once you've mastered the burnout . And your wallet will suffer badly too :D

I was thinking this earlier.. Kill the 5mm pzeros that I have on in ///M sizes doing doughnuts, or fit my new 40 and 35 section pzeros and sell the others...
