Quad Sports Exhaust Conversion

Hi All,

I am wanting to get a quad pipe conversion for my 2004 Z4 - I have been looking at the one from MStyle but decided against that one as I have not seen their quality of work or the sound of the system.

I have also been looking at the quad system from Hayword Scott but there are miles away from where I am in Richmond, so what I would really like is some advice - does anyone know of a good company in Surrey that can fit a quad pipe system for my car like the Hayward Scott (sound and quality)

Let me know people ;)

Anyone got any advice please - I'm board of the standard exhaust on my car and I want something more fruity lol :D

I think I've only seen Eisenmann used on here for factory quad conversions - as in my sig. I frinkin' love it.

To be honest, for something like this, I think you'd be a fool to limit to yourself to local suppliers, I chose the system I wanted and then went in search of a supplier - luckily mine was local. I certainly wouldn't rule out someone like H&S - I've only heard their systems on M cars, but each one has been superb

Think Supersprint may offer a quad setup as well. BlueFlame will probably do something bespoke.

Depending on your confidence, there is a link in my post somewhere to CJ's conversion... if you really want to stay local and are feeling really brave

There have been a couple of discussions about this if you do a search.

There are 2 considerations here and frankly little of it is likely to be 'local' without some trawling and calling locals.

The exhaust system itself will have to be one of the several makes of 'T' pipe conversion offered. There are many threads on here - just keep searching 'quad exhaust' or similar. Alternative is a specialist custom exhaust shop who will make whatever you want (the route I took using///M boxes on custom tubing, repositioned battery and a home crafted rear bumper cover and diffuser

The second is a bodyshop to cut the existing bumper or a conversion to an ///M or different set up. Once done you need to consider various bits of heat shielding around nely routed pipes, etc.

I think after everyones advice I will end up going to Hayward and Scott and them install the new system - they said that they will do the quad pipe install for around the £700 mark which doesnt sound too bad to me.

Is it worth finding a company locally and buying the H&S system and using the local company to install the exhaust or is that a bit backwards?

Many Thanks

Price sounds good for a reputable company  If it were me I'd get Hayward and Scott to install - it'll be a custom build so you want to make sure everything meets up, they'll be best placed to make mods on the fly if needed.

Is this a proper quad setup or a standard box with t pipe?

I suspect you'll need to take the car to them ready to install (at that price). The bumper will need changing with either setup as CJ detailed and if you're going for a proper quad setup there is addition work, but the hard work has been done for you - working out how the hell to make the space and get it to fit.

Good luck and keep us posted. This is a great mod
