Forgive me my ignorance but as somebody more aesthetically minded than mechanically minded, will this only fit a 3.0L?

Don't forget you will have to either modify your rear bumper or replace it with a 3ltr version to accommodate the two extra pipes at the other side.

3ltr didn't have quad pipes, the 3.2 M did.

Well you lean something every day I thought the 2.0 had a singe the 2.2 and 2.5 a twin and the 3ltr had quad, clearly I'm wrong, cheers for that.

Stupid question, but I take it this is for the earlier E85 and not the E89?

Yes e85 only mate.
The pre facelift was for the M54 engine roadster. From 2003 to 2005 I think? Maybe 2006. If you're a e89... won't work!
