Quad Exhaust

When installing a quad exhaust, does anything else need to be done besides the cut in the right side of the bumper? Additionally, would it just be easier to swap out for an M rear bumper, then mount the exhaust? Trying to get info for my shop to do it. Thanks!
 
Ok it is possible to use the existing bumper. You do need to be carful cutting out the shape. Make a template from the left side. Flip it round to mark out the right side measure from the corner of the bumper round to the cut out. And then do the same the other side.

I am not sure how your doing your quad so difficult to say! But the fuel breather system pipes need hold out of the way of the hot exhaust. I usually cable tie them up also depending on the exhaust type the alarm siren might need moving.

But I got a ebay bargin M bumper so that went on

Lovely! I nearly went for an ///M bumper recently then realised I needed to change the rear clusters as I have a pre-facelift.Would love a quad.
 
Going to purchase the Eisenmann quad. I also wouldn't trust myself to actually cut the bumper so I'm going to have the shop do it. However, they have never intalled a quad like this before, and they're wondering how much work really needs to be done.
 
Do you know how the second back box is fixed? I drill into the the crash bar and fix with rubber bungs? Also the old back box will need cutting off in the right place. There is no join on the system. It's one piece from nano fold to the tips. Any garage should be able to do it :thumbsup:

Only over thing to point out if the battery location as this could get in the way depending on which way you go.

We also removed some of the wadding in the back box to give a few extra pops and bangs on overrun

How does it sound???

And did you cut open the back box to remove the wadding? Stock back box or otherwise?
