This is what is inside the OEM muffler - The new custom made muffler although a 3 pass system, is infact free flow compared to the OEM Z4 one

Thanks looks a great Exhaust place but sounds just a little but expensive at £750 but if it's right first time :P

Well compared to this it way cheaper,

You could go for cheaper options which some on the board have done but they use standard mufflers not bespoke ones designed for the z4.

Went here once but with a mini cs they make exhausts for Larini

There are many places doing quad exhausts at different prices.

I needed new mounting points, battery cables relocating, bottom of rear panels what bumper bolts to cutting. Pipe behind bumper mesh heat wrapping.

They are local to me so if I had to travel then £750 is not a bad price. You get what you pay for.

Just had my quad exhaust replaced by the same company - Stanless Exhaust Specialistss in Sutton-in-Ashfield

My previous system was fitted by Longlife in Birmingham, and what a mess. We took a look on the ramp and it was blowing in 5 places and general workmanship was shocking - if I had the time I would take it to trading standards. But the new system by SES is in a different league.

I chose a quieter system which is close to original sound, although a little more free flowing than OEM.

cannot see the pics as im in the office - but did they use the same template from mine and mac's?

Hi Ranski, yes stole your template - thanks for that!

A nice refined note rather than the boy racer rasp provided by the t***ers at 'short'life.

I also had issues with flat spots and a dyno showed a stuttery power curve - the new exhaust makes it drive so much smoother, and it feels more responsive. I'll dyno at some stage and compare.

I also went for new piping and tips in the end

These are right on my door step and I had no idea they existed! Might call them tomorrow and see if they would fit one of the BB bypass pipes for me!

Just spoke to them to see if they could make the silencer up and ship it to me to save an 8 hr round trip and a night in a hotel, they declined :headbang:
And they are booked up until the middle of June :headbang: :headbang:
The search continues  .
