as im going to a place in Bham center to get mine done on the 24th - if they turn out alright and the price is your liking they might be an option?

If they do a good job for you I'll book mine in with them.

What sort of cost are you looking at?

That looks really nice, where is Longlife based and how much was it? I have managed to find a Utube clip of the MStyle quad conversion and it looks a bit shoddy - what do people think

???

I have emailed Longlife and havnt had a reply yet... I think if they arent that expensive they appear to be a decent company to use for the quad conversion. The Mstyle quad system sounds a bit pants me thinks...

your link is not working. http://youtu.be/t-CqitmxqQY , i dont think that its the Mstyle exhaust. I think they mean Z4M style exhaust. Also, the user who posted the video is registered in slovakia...

So here I sit, in Sutton-in-Ashfield Library, waiting for Stainless Exhaust Specialists to fit the Quad rear section to my Zed. Can't wait! Having read write-ups by several forum members, I decided to bite the bullet and drive up here for a 7.30am start. A 2 hour journey, so it was a seriously early start, but I am sure it will be well worth the wait. Part 2 will give a report on first impressions, together with a couple of photos. Fingers crossed......

I'll be interested in seeing the results. I got mine at the same place, and my lhd has shifted and been meaning to adjust it myself, or take it back for them to adjust it at some point.

Also mine was deadly silent at first less then stock.. but now after 6 months is sounds much better.

I take it your going to have the custom muffler fitted that a few of us have?

What size tips are you having fitted?

Good luck. A mod that really makes the Z4 look the biz.
Get some photos and GE under while on ramps to check the work.

Im goin with the ZM active quad system in June, whole new rear M bumper too at a cost of £1200 supplied painted and fitted, alot but then i do have the dreaded "Zeditis" :headbang:

Thats not far off what i ended i paying for mine :headbang:

So, here is the result. Awesome job. Apologies for the state of the car. Wouldn't normally let it be seen like this, but it was a long journey in the wet. Hope you guys will go easy on me parading a work of art in this dirty state.
And yes, it was a bit dark when the job was done.
Cheers.

Square cut offset 600mm tailpipes. Skirt needs a little polishing but only minor work needed. Sound is very subtly more grown up. Loving it - and I got 3,5 mpg improvement on the run home! That won't last though, as it sounds great when pushing 4-5k rpm.

Strange mine was quieter :(

Looks good though- Although looks like your lhd pipes need to be pulled in towards the middle slightly... Exactly the same as mine.

Did they fabricate it before you turned up?

And do you mean 600mm combined? So 300 each? A 60cm tailpipe is like a drainpipe

Worth it tho? Does the car sound alot better too?
Umm worth it for looks... Prob not sound.

In hindsight i could have gone for a einsmann system for a bit more.

Nice I just gotta have one of these!! Do the new RHS tailpipes have a hanger like the einsmann or is it just suspended from the LH box. Dare I ask how much?
