Qatar airways?

Flown emirates to Sydney, and to be honest, not massively impressed.
Via Dubai the second leg is 16 hours, so that may explain all the cabin crew being grumpy. But food wasn't great - even airline standards.
Can't comment on Business classes as have only flown short haul in business and a free bar is no use whatsoever in manchester airport when you're there at 5am and have a day's work to do....

Flew Singapore airlines last year, I thought they were great all round, not flown with the others so cant really compare.

I've used bith Singapore airlines and quantas (BA basically) biz class many times. Quantas over Singapore, anyday! :)

Ok, just about to push the button on Cathay now as if you include a saturday, it goes down to 2500 which is a lot more reasonable. they quote separate cabins for business. Not keen on the stop over in HK, but non stop is all around the 4k mark.

Any thoughts on that one?

12 hours sat in complete comfort, watching movies, reading books and being brought all of the food and drink you could wish for. Is there a better example of a "first world problem" as deciding which airline to fly business class with?

Yep - finding the money

My software better be worth it as I have to demo over there :D

... best remove some of the bugs before I go I guess

LOL, looking at £350 for a Jet2 flight and thinking it's quite expensive... bring any of this into context? ;)

I don't want to bring it in context as when you think you are spending half the value of a Z4 on a flight it does not bear thinking about :D

At least it is a combination of customer and my company paying, so not directly from my personal funds.
