Q...Why so many no posts?

I joined the forum recently but have only posted a few times. This is mainly because I don't know enough to answer people's questions and I don't know enough to ask sensible questions myself! As was suggested above, I log on so I can use the "New Posts" button. Where I do understand the thread and can make a sensible(ish) contribution such as this one then I will do so. If I tried to contribute to anything a bit more technical, I would be wasting your time as well as mine.

Welcome!! The only difference between you and posters that have been here awhile and posted a lot is ...nothing, other than we have posted a lot.

IMHO, I would not worry very much about,

those issues. Just me , myself and I, I find that I have an idea that things work a certain way and when I post something wrong, yes I get a tease about it, but then I learn the correct piece of it. I just find the more active I become the more I learn and learning has become addictive to me. If you have a question or are just not sure, the threads are a great way to get answers. There are no silly questions and you may help some else because they too think it is silly.

There are groups of people that know each other, people that get out and get to meet and know each other. IMHO that is the real beauty of the forum. Someplace where I can meet like minded people and just share in each others company. The common thread that we all have , has already brought us together by being here on this forum ( the cars ). The people that take the next step and go out and meet other posters face to face are the ones that post more than anyone else. There is something that happens when you actually get the chance to shake another posters hand. I became more envolved when I started doing the meets. The forum is great for finding answers to something I'm not sure about, however, The people I actually get to meet is like finding that huge gold nugget. The people are IMHO the real value here. Yes we pick and tease each other and I have no issue with it. I find that most people only tease people they like.

As you can see ,I have a real passion for the car and the people that drive them. For me it has become more about the people. My Dad told me you only get as much out of something as you put into it.

Welcome to the forum and join in on the fun.

I couldn't agree more. This is a planetary event never to be witnessed again. Necessity is the mother of invention and all that. Ralph, how about starting a poll and instigate more pressure? He truly needs to be a part of the ever widening team by physically being there.

I wish I could make HC. I was almost able to get a TDY that would of been near that area I believe, but alas, I did not meet the requirement for the TDY.
