Q regarding Aero kit.

Is the aero kit the same for both pre/facelift and roadster/coupe?
Will a kit from a prefacelift roadster fit my coupe? :scratchhead:

Kits would be different.

The front bumper cover and sideskirts will fit any pre or post facelift while the rear bumpers are different in profile and around the lights, so may not be ready interchangeable. Anything can be made to fit though if you're determined.

Well its not the whole bumper. Its just the Aero diffusor that I hope is the carbon one...

If its pre facelift then its not carbon im afraid.. It is just a piece of plastic that looks but ugly IMO..

Yes butt ugly...

For the facelift you can get a cf rear diffuser. I believe though it's no longer stocked in the UK by BMW

I know. Thats the one I would like to have. But here in Norway they couldnt even find it in the system... Even though I did have the part no.

BMW have discontinued the part. I tried every dealership in the UK and even BMW in Germany to see if they had any remaining stock and they confirmed not. I searched high and low and managed to drop on where a forum member didnt want theres which they had bought some time ago!

They are like hens teeth.

I would keep searching the likes of ebay though as you might get lucky.

Good luck

Sorry ZermattV.. Just my opinion. Although on your car it doesnt look half as bad as others Ive seen. Maybe its the colour or the fact its installed with the spoiler, or maybe its the angle of the photograph. Just always thought it looked too cumboursom on the rear of the car.

As powerontap mentioned. CF wrap might look good. Not sure how this would react with heat from the exhaust though?

totally agree JDM  .... didn't like it before i saw it on this colour ... i don't think carbon wrap would look right due to the shape and colour.

It's one of those things that I wouldn't put on my car, I don't think, but I've seen a few with them on (in real life not pictures) and they look good. Is too flat to be carboned - at least it would need to be skimmed, but even that wouldn't look right IMO. Better as is. That said, I had a facelift CF one, did most of the hard work prepping it and then decided I didn't want to put it on my car... still worked out okay in the end
