Q Celsius Tires

Very "James Bond" :)

Is it true that studded tyres damage the road surface if used on dry roads, never heard of that before?

Oh yeah. I'll bet that driveway of the house I grew up in still has those 150 foot posi burns my buddy did with his Dodge Challenger running studs. I caught frigging hell from my dad.

MSNBC always on the cutting edge of new products articles especially those popular, headline getting, winter tire stories shown in late May.

I have 22 years in the the tire and auto field, I have never heard of this before. If this was a real tire concept, i would surely know about it. It does not seem possible to have a second air chamber that pushes out the spikes, let alone that could be repaired at any facility. Lastly if it were all true, a major manufacturer would have bought this guy out a long time ago. He would not be forced to contract out to China.
