Purchasing Z4 Recommendations

I am currently looking to purchase a 35is and would order to build. I was wondering the experience has been from anyone who has gone this route. What is a reasonable price I should bargain for - is it MSRP or do I have any negotiating room? How long did the build take? Has anyone from the U.S. done the European delivery and how was the experience?
 
Anybody? I've never ordered a BMW before so a little insight from those with experience would be of great help. Thanks in advance!
