Purchased a 28i 2012 Z4, few questions.

Hi,
Following some research on here has helped me purchase a 2012 Z4 28i in Alpine White with Red leather. I pick it up on 3rd July.

It has 19" MSport double spoke alloys with good run flats and drove OK with them. Comfort pack, pro nav and pro radio with a hifi speaker system and red leather.

My few questions are:

1) Does the red leather have a specific name, like rosso red etc? A few places are starting to wear and I want to touch up/recolour these areas with proper leather repair products and purchase/order what I need.

2) Can the phone cradle be adapted, replaced with a tray or converted to use another phone. I have an S9+

3) I could only count 9 speakers? Two in each door, one on each of the door posts behind/side of driver/passenger, large speaker behind each seat and a centre one on the dashboard. Thought there should be 11 based on an image posted to one of my earlier posts?

Looking forward to picking up my first BMW.

Two woofers in footwells near your feet wire in series.. :thumbsup:

Since the E89 is 'functionally stabilized" ie as IBM would say 'dead' from BMW support, whilst you can swap trays I doubt there is a tray for a S9+ , on age and size grounds..plus generally BMW is more iOS biased.. :thumbsdown:

Thanks Pbondar, i was wondering if that is where they are? Spoke to BMW and they confirmed I have the Business package with amplifier. looking forward to getting the car next week.

Various mostly iPhones but of the size of the iPhone 5..

The 6s etc don’t fit the space occupied by the cradle let alone the cradle..

I put my 7s in the oddments tray aka ash tray..along with a usb charger in the cig socket with then a 5cm fly lead..

Look neat, doesn’t slop around and you can see notifications appearing of course only looking when stopped, in park etc.. :thumbsup:
