Not sure if is the right place to post this but I’m a newbie so going for it

Does anyone know this car or even better, viewed/driven it?

It has almost everything I’m looking for except cruise (I’ll retro fit) and heated seats. Think it might be on Run flats too and if so they’ll be coming off and getting replaced with Michelin’s or Conti’s

On the heated seats point, I intend driving with the roof down as much as possible, winter included, do these make a huge difference with the roof down or is the heater alone able to keep you warm enough?

I would say heated M-sport seats is about the only essential option in the roadster unfortunately. They make a big difference and are expensive to retrofit. It’s quite rare to see a late 3.0Si without them to be honest. Shame really as this is likely to be the blacktop N52K engine which has several improvements over the earlier silvertop N52.

I dive mine top down all year unless its raining - even when the temp is below zero. Heater will do hands and feet. I've never worn gloves driving mine (bit like washing your feet with your socks on  ). If I don't have the heated seats on I can feel my core temp drop and for me it makes my back/kidneys ache - shame I can't have just the back heated because the seats don't half make your bum hot!

Have to echo what has been said. If you plan on enjoying the car with the roof down then the heated sports seats are the number one most important option. :)

Thanks for your reply, in all honesty I did think they were essential myself but I was hoping you lot were going to convince me they weren’t.

I was really surprised that with the overall spec of this that it doesn’t have them, it seems to have most other options.

I had thought it might have the later engine too an that was a small plus also.

I’m on the West Coast of Scotland so the one thing I can guarantee is sub zero temperatures. I’ll be like you, unless it’s raining roof will likely be down. I have a 110 mile commute at least once a week on an A road which is a combination of very twisty to a 2+ mile long straight :driving:

Appreciate the kidneys and back comment as I can sometimes experience kidney pain and don’t want to take a risk of making that worse.

Back to the drawing board. Don’t have many must haves but did have sports seats down as a must just wasn’t sure if them being heated was essential. Was just trying to convince myself I’d get away without them as I quite liked the colour combo of this.

Had originally discounted it (on no heated seats!) but was revisiting ones I’d ruled out before as my list of possibilities hadn’t come off.

Had wanted to buy the Helltrot Coupe on here and had great comms with the seller but I just couldn’t get down in time because of distance and when we were finalising arrangements he’d other more local viewings booked so asked me to hold off until they’d happened to save me a wasted trip.

In a way now quite glad it didn’t happen as it pushed me back to an E85 which had been my original intention.
