Pulley has seized on Alternator!

Hi everyone,

battery fault light came on whilst driving on Saturday, then the power failed and came to a stop.

essentially the alternator was only putting out 11.5v so was not charging the battery.

long story short, the alternator has now been replaced, question is - I have the old alternator, could this be refurbished? is it of any use to anyone?

You can get alternators repaired for like £50. Not really worth it though unless someone wants one and can do it themselves.
