The door cards w/o puddle lights have an outline in the plastic so you should be able to get an accurate location.

The standard Puddle Lights are just lights. The BMW logo ones are replacement ones that are LED with an insert for the logo and a focused lens.

.....and a right PITA to swap over. The cable/connection is soooooo short. Had to buy an extra long curved nose pair of pliars :wink:

The logos are printed on a thin film which is located within the light unit. I used to sell tons of these online until car manufacturers started complaining about trade mark infringement! You can have anything printed on the film that you like although you'll probably have to buy 1000 sets or something for custom logos.

I would also like to do this. I don’t have lights there either

Well im only fitting normal puddle lights, but the projectors are exactly the same so itll be the retrofit of the puddles and footwell lights (same circuit and light units)
