LIDL are selling decent axle stands and trolley jacks on special from 25th Feb...

Trolley jack £14.99

Axle stands (pair) £6.99

And also noticed this:
Car polisher £24.99 but not sure if it's a random orbital one or not, could be crap

I bought the same axle stands and a similar trolley jack from LIDL a few years ago. Axle stands are superb, trolley jack is good enough for occasional use but mine isn't low enough to fit under the Z4 without first driving the wheels up onto blocks of wood. Everything TUV approved so IS good quality despite the price :D

Might be of interest to folks perhaps...

I seen these advertised and thought the jack might be useful to have about,last week Lidl had a battery charger pack/compressor for £30 which i thought was a good price but missed out on one.so will make an effort to get there early,but thanks for the reminder :thumbsup:

I bought the jack last time it was on offer, worked a treat last couple of weekends when I jacked the car up to paint the calipers. It drops low enough to go underneath the Z4 without having to drive it onto a plank of wood or similar. Result! :thumbsup:
Think I'll get those axle stands this time, thanks for the heads up.
 
I wonder if they do the hubcaps in 19" to fit over my CSLs.

The seat covers look like a good match to the Imola leather too.

I've paid about £15 for similar stands and they are good. I like the fact they fold up but they are secure when folded out.

Not sure if the jack is low enough for a Z4 but I'm tempted as my current jack is past its best.

What model do you have and how close was it to the sills?

All I can say is the jack didn't go under my 3.0i sport-sprung Z4 even before I fitted the Eibachs. Now there's not a hope in hell of it fitting under!

Of course, mine looks slightly different to the latest one on sale so might be different...
