PS3 60gb (with 320gb) for sale - NOW SOLD

I upgraded my playstation to a slim recently and have the (some say) collectible 60gb launch version for sale:

It's the one that's backwards compatible, 4 usb slots, memory card slots etc. I upgraded the hard drive to 320gb.

If anyone on Z4 forum is interested, there'll be a discount from that price (£300).

There are 60gb ps3's on Amazon for £600. Crazy but true. If anyone wants a backwards compatible ps3 with 320gb make me an offer, I'm only starting at £40 over a new one.

If any of you made me an offer, and linked to a cheaper version I might see a point to all this.....

just want to say sorry if i come accross as someone that was just shooting your add down, it just seems expensive.

how old is it exactly and how often/much has it been used? if it was more around the price that sk93 said i may be interested

That's ok, to be honest I'm kind of flying a kite because it's hard to judge the price. Like I said there are some crazy people willing to pay £5-600 because it's rare, I really don't know exactly what it's worth and I'd rather just keep it than give it away for peanuts.

I bought it on UK launch date, whenever that was and it's been used fairly regularly ever since. It's never been moved around, knocked or damaged.

I'm selling because (for about a month) MW2 did something to the console that prevented me playing it. I lost patience and bought a slim, but the issue's since been fixed with a MW2 update. I don't play Gran Turismo anymore (got something on pc for the 'ring) so I thought I'd see if anyone needed a backwards compatible one.
 
It's the only PS3 that's got backwards compatibility, that's why i went for one!

Bought mine second hand without the extra drive for £300 although that was a few yrs back, just after they'd replaced it with the 40gb non backwards compatible one, just can't live without playing GTA San Andreas every now and again :roll:

Very good. Unfortunately, the 60 Gb models are subject to the "yellow light of death" syndrome, like my son's. Was glad to get rid of it :)
