The time has come to bid farewell to my much loved and enjoyed Z4M Coupe.

I've owned the car since 2016 and put on 8.5k miles since taking proud ownership, never skipping a beat. Brings serious smiles per miles when I do drive it, but alas, the chance to drive it is getting less and less with a young and growing family and working from home.

Details as follows:

  • 69900 miles
  • Titanium Silver
  • Napa Red Leather seats
  • Heated Seats
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Sat-Nav
  • Alpine KCA 420i and iPod adaptor 10 speaker Digital Sound System
  • Professional Bluetooth phone prep

  • 15k miles until next major inspection (inspection 2)
  • MOT'd until Oct 2020
  • New Rear pads added 23/1/20
  • All service and maintenance since ownership carried out at Autohaus Diagnostics
  • Garaged, regularly detailed (a welcome break from the kids!)

Servicing

04/01/07 - Pre Delivery Check
06/02/07 - 2078 miles - Running in check
20/02/08 - 9040 miles- Interim service
13/02/09 - 18996 miles- Brake fluid change
02/06/09 - 21989 miles - Inspection 1
08/09/10 - 34788 miles - Interim service
07/03/11 - 38134 miles - Brake fluid change
12/10/12 - 45567 miles - Inspection 2
17/10/14 - 55755 miles - Interim service
05/07/16 - Oil and filter change (did myself with receipts)
11/07/17 - 66128 miles - Inspection 1
31/05/19 - 69461 miles - Interim service

Niggles

  • Sat-Nav - never used, understood needed new antenna but I prefer google maps user interface so never got around to it
  • The paintwork is in good condition, a few small road chips underneath the front bumper as is the norm and a small scratch on the bonnet.
  • MOT advisory - Minor nearside Rear Brake pipe corrosion. When I took into autohaus to get the rear pads changed, they said it was nothing to get excited about, minor stuff no action required.

Part of me really wants to hold onto it, it's one of the best cars I've driven, certainly best owned, but I firmly believe it's a car to be driven and enjoyed and I'm not doing enough of that. I am Leeds based, working from home so can be fairly flexible around viewings.

£16995
Questions welcomed and feel free to ask for any other pics of the car

Car in for it's annual service this week at Autohaus diagnostics.

I'm a bit surprised It's not sold to be honest, seems fairly priced for the mileage/spec. Interested in your views if I'm missing something?

Advertised in Jan which is the worst time of the year for a private sale.

Colour; Titanium Silver although looks nice isn’t the most desirable.

COVID-19...needn’t explain.

But hang in there mate. Your car looks a good buy, perhaps if you lowered the price slightly you would see more interest.

Lovely car , i can't see any good reason why you haven't had interest or indeed a sale especially the past 3-4 weeks as the Z market seems very buoyant from early £2500 Se roadies to £20k ZMCs .
I'm not doing it down by any means as i have a ti silver E86 myself ( & am totally taken with it ) but the colour is possibly a limiting factor here as its not classed as one of the most desirable when many start the hunt for their dream Z4M .
Can't see why a decent Ebay classified ad at your current ask wouldn't see it change hands within the month but be prepared to negotiate , the secret i suspect is getting someone to the car , then it should be a done deal as in the real the silver is very fetching to the style of the Z & really shows off the car to its best imo .
Incidentally , were you passing through Harrogate centre last Tuesday around 9-30am ?

There’s a silver mc that I regularly see driving about here. Used to have aftermarket alloys similar to 359s

One crossed a junction in front of me last week near GC Sports cars , pretty sure this one had 224s on :?

I'm surprised you still haven't had any interest OP.

I'm not a huge fan of silver, mainly because I've had silver cars too many years in the past but I'd definitely prefer it to black - and Imola Red seats look great with most colours.

Your car doesn't look dear compared to recent MC adverts on here, so hopefully now your thread has had a bump someone will see it and want to buy. Good luck anyway.

Thanks for the replies, appreciated.

Had a couple of low ball offers which I politely turned down & one which I was happy with but went quiet. When I was on the look out for my Z4MC I was after Silver Grey as my ideal choice, but as people have said before, it's a small market. I love the red leather with Titanium though and I bought it because it is such a special car, not the colour. It looks ace in all colours IMO, the styling is great and the setup more so!

@Truth - I put it on in October yeah, but took off soon after as was not sure I wanted to sell it. Not in a rush to sell it tbh, it's a great car that I like a lot and am reminded at how special it is when I see reviews like this from Savage Geese https://youtu.be/CbE2BC97Wh4. Suspect my timing of putting it on in Jan as @R60BBA rightly said is poor combined with Covid, it now looks stale as an ad.

Small flex in price, but it's a cracking car and I've seen similar sell higher.

:D

Thanks! Re Autohaus, I can't fault them and they are honest as the day is long. Was recommended by a friend who when he changed his car, he bought another BMW, because of the service from Autohaus. Sounds far fetched, but genuinely the case.

That's really nice for the money. Can't see it hanging around much longer.

I would update the title to give the mileage and price. Also update the price in the original post. GLWTS

Thanks Jamie, needless to say marketing isn't my strongest skill :P
