PROVEN :: Gruppe M CF Air Filter does increase power

I attended a dyno day today and was able to do a comparison between the stock box and the gruppe M. To my surprise, the gruppe M gave me an extra 5kw atw compared tot he stock box.
 
Was that car also chipped to take advantage of the GruppeM for that extra 5kw/8hp (or 6kw/9hp at the crank)?
 
The only thing that keeps me from buying it is the fact that temperatures here are close to and often exceed 40 degrees Celsius during the summer and i dont know what effect the GruppeM would have with that.. What are your thoughts?

Did you put the car on an independent dyno with the standard airbox in place? Or are you measuring against BMW's power claims for the standard car?

Also I assume that a 'dyno day' is fully indpendent? and has no connection to the company you bought the GruppeM from?
 
Do you have the before/after plots so we can see the improvement over the rev range?

Sounds like a good improvement for just a filter :D

As above, would like those questions answered.

Along with what model you have, 3.0 I'm guessing, 231 or 261?

How much is this filter?
