Hey new Scottish member.

Picked up my z4 yesterday and the massive grin has yet to leave my face!! :D

Bought an Approved used 2005 Z4 2.5 with a very nice little sports button ;) Dark grey (gun metal?) and great mileage for the year.

Thought id join up, say hello, and also give a MASSIVE thanks to everyone who contributes to this website, it really is an invaluable tool for any wannabe Z4 owners. In my year long search for the perfect BMW the info on here has helped massively.

Walking into any car dealer can be intimidating but I was armed with alot of info and eventually found my perfect car and I feel I got an amazing deal, thanks in no small part to the key info learned on here!

prior to sale the car has been given full inspection II service, Brand new second key, 4 new tyres and Year warranty! most of which I would never have pushed for had I not crept around this forum for months!

So once again Thanks for all the help, and lets keep our fingers crossed the UK doesnt get a bad winter, iv got to learn to drive this car first! (big step up from my astra sri)

Very nice motor there Dan, congratulations and welcome to the forum :) It's Sterling Grey, a very popular colour for the E85 and you also have the 18" Ellipsoids which I personally really like. What spec does it have, heated seats etc? Any mods planned? If not, but you're staying in the forum fold then you will very shortly have a whole list! Enjoy the honeymoon period, I love that stage with a new car... :driving:

Welcome along try and avoid the mod virus. Since i contacted it i have lost sanity and have a very light wallet. I have not even done much!!!!

Very lovely clean car looks like a winner :thumbsup:
 
Hey, z4_DanMac! I took the plunge into Z4 ownership a couple of months ago and I am still smiling. Even when it sits in the drive covered in snow, I know what's under it. I'm keeping an eye on the weather for the weekend in the hope I can take the Z down the A9 to Linlithgow for my grand daughter's birthday party. If not, I quite enjoy my Tourette too.

I think you're right about this forum. It's really friendly and there's lots of good advice and discussion about our cars. Enjoy! :)

Nice Zed , I am still getting the buzz after getting mine last September :D drove it yeterday for the first time with the hood up .......... well it was minus 2deg c :D
