Over the xmas period either my common sense has left me or my underlying need to feel protected has beaten it to death! So far I've paid for a lifetime Tracker subscription and just paid for a BMW warranty (Which, by the way, was cheaper than Warranty Direct). Added to the bill for refurbing the wheels last month and paying the roadtax this week as well... phew, I say PHEW!

Oh well, who needs to eat anyway. More Petrol vicar?

The 6 years of driving toll taken on my front bumper / bonnet / front & rear of side skirts (by previous owners...) and some light scratching on area ear bumper are beginning to bug me when I clean my baby... OCD is setting in, and i'm considering having them all re-sprayed - not going to be cheap, but I can't stand it much longer. It also needs an oil service and a brake fluid change just to be safe as the service history is patchy of late... so I know what you mean

I was going to ask 'why ??', then thought about it - pretty cool actually, and a great source of info on running costs, and as additional proof of what you've done if/when you sell. Do you use it for anything apart from wistfully admiring your investment ?

Yeah, got to tax mine next month... Unfortunately the dealer who sold me mine managed todiet a disc for 6 months instead of 12 as requested, so to stagger the pain (my wife's car needs done in April) I'll do 6 then 12 in September. It'll need an Inspection by April too probably, but every time I start worrying I think of the pristine 108s waiting all covered up in the garage for springtime, and everything is better again

(I have waxed my 108s twice now, and will probably manage another couple of times before they go back on. Is that sad ? Or bad for them even :? )

Same here on the respray.

I wonder how much it might cost to get a same-colour re-spray... hmmm...

Road tax and insurance were due this month.... RFL up to £260 but insurance is over £150 less for some reason (under £750 now) so I'm happy

If you have a spare set, send them to Lepsons in Swindon. They do a fantastic job for a really good price. I'm delighted with mine.

I'm going to do his - would either of you be willing to share a template ? No need for numbers obviously, but I am widely famed for being the last person in my team to be trusted with the creation of anything more complex than a list in excel
