Protecting aging leather seats

Hi there,

Admittedly after 60k miles and not being the easiest of machines to climb in and out of I can’t complain at the aging of the leather on my ZED, but the outer wing is showing signs of use.

Do other people come across this and is there a go-to tip for protecting it (if any)?

The side bolsters wear. It's just a fact of life. Cheap leather, wide wings and difficult access all add up. Our first E89 only had 23k miles and the driver's bolster looked worse than yours. I am guessing it was previously owned by someone who liked their pies!
Easily remedied, though. Go to www.furnitureclinic.co.uk, they have all the products needed to get them back to new looking. Just needs a bit of elbow grease, a bit of patience and a few quid.
They will colour match your leather if it's not a dye they carry as standard (chances are it is though).

i used a website called the scratch Doctor it's an all in one colour repair.

Was dead easy just clean the area and get a sponge shake the bottle and apply in straight lines and leave to absorb and dry then 1hr later apply another think layer and so on and so forth till you get the desired effect then leave it for 24hrs to fully cure

Piece of cake buddy nothing to it.
Don't pay some leather merchant a fortune it's really easy, yours were like mine buddy very minor just need a little spritz
