Hi guys,

Good looking forum, i come to you from the rx8oc, I believe we had the same software running our forum so already feel at home :)

I am currently selling my trackprepped 8 as i no longer have the time to participate in trackdays and plan to open my own accountancy firm. A kitted up RX8 spitting flames doesn't give the right first impression although i loved the car.

I will be buying an early e85 pre facelift, with 3.0 engine, not decided on weather to stay with a manual or go auto?

I have planned to buy uprated headlights from CARiD, anyone used these before? Also planning to put e89 seats into the car (possible???) as well as an M steering wheel and gear knob from a 3.0si has anyone done this?

Any personal buyers tips would be gratly appreciated and also any first jobs and regular jobs to do would be great :)

Hi Derry welcome along.

Good look finding a Zed, plenty of decent 3.0's out there by all accounts. The cars are proving very reliable. Very few reoccurring issue's apart from Roof motor's & Rear springs. So always worth checking the roof drains are clear. :thumbsup:

Starting your own firm, nice one and good look with that too. You can give my son a few tips for the future.

Great to hear! My brother-in-laws LSD went in his 2.5 petrol x3 sport and it was really hard to get a hold of think cost £1000 in the end.

I will double check the roof when buying, and wanted a set of liwering springs for the car anyway, just make it slightly more aggressive.

Now to sell the 8 so i can start looking :)
 
Nice one. Get that Rx8 sold quick. You realise we are all now going to start asking for pics. :D
 
Congrats and goodluck with the new motor....did anyone mention that pics are required....the dirtier the better please. :thumbsup:
