Hey guys,

I've just joined the forum and have been reading posts for the last week or so. You guys certainly know your stuff! The advise and knowledge you give on here really is priceless and will certainly help me when I look to buy a z4 in the next few months.

I'm 27 and from Andover, currently working hard to get some cash together to buy my new pride and joy! Hopefully a 03-05 convertible - 3.0 litre of course! Will be looking to spend £7k'ish :D

I really hope some of you will be able to help point me in the right direction when I do actively start looking to view some cars, with what to look out for and what a decent price/spec is. :)

Cheers everyone in advance and looking forward to chatting some more in the near future.

Steve.

Welcome to the forum. I've been driving towards your way from hungerford a lot recently, it has been my new playground - roads are amazing! And usually ending up at Thruxton.

Good luck with your search. As Swiftly posted, those threads are really useful and I did plenty of reading on those before buying my first zed.

Definitely, I've made my own mini evo triangle. Haha. I've only had it a couple of months or so, I'm still getting used to it. Certainly a good few times where I miss my previous 3.0 roadie though, great all rounders. For your budget you should find a good one, but don't rule out stretching if you can for a facelift!

-Tom-, Would love a facelift, but don't want to be unrealistic with what I can get for the money. Getting married next year, so wanna be as tight with the budget as I can!
Bet you've had a few good blasts down the A4 as well?! Can't wait to get out there.

Yes I know what you mean, I over-stretched with my first and this which isn't exactly sensible. Yep sticking to your guns then for those reg years will get you a really decent and well spec'd one.

Yes the a4 is my daily commute, but on your doorstep the a343 and a338 ... You'll love the zed along those :-D

I've got a black 3.0i with black/yellow interior. It was adamski's old z4

mlodey, just seen the pictures, great looking car! Especially with the hard top and first time I've seen the black and yellow seats. Looks spot on though!
