The boiler is there as it's the kitchen. Downstairs is a different layout, their kitchen is on the other side of the building. We are upstairs as it's a maisonette (our bathroom). It's garages on the ground floor, 1st is a 2 flats, second and third are maisonettes with the living room and kitchen on the second and bed and bathrooms on the third.
