Hi everyone just purchased a 56 reg 2.0 z4 ,car is pretty imaculate and over the next few weeks it's going to be wrapped so I will be hammering the search function on how to remove all the grills lights etc .

Welcome to the forum, have you got any pics of what its going to look like with a blue/white pearlescent wrap?

Thankyou , I don't know what it's going to look like I've only got a sample of the wrap I will be ordering 13 metres tomo . Looking at the panels on the car it seems one of the easiest to wrap

Hi, are you doing the wrap yourself? I did my interior door handles which were easy but a whole car would be a challenge :?
Ps, what's the lotus link?
Rob

The front grills are easy, lift up then swing the bottom edge outward
Side indicators are removed by twisting, the other bits will be buried in here & the search function should dig them up.

Yes doing the car myself it's part of new business I'm starting to show customers the quality and finish they will get with a wrap . No lotus link it's just a name from years ago I used on bbing forums and sort of stuck

I'm in Durham , is there any value to the wheels ? Thinking of swapping to bbs as the car will be on axle stands for a while

Good condition Ellipsoids are sort after by many, they have the classic looking Zed appeal - as srhutch has already pointed out, they are quite rare.

These are in good condition 2 perfect and 2 with a 3 inch graze that will be getting refurbed as I'm a bit of a perfectionist

Yep lots of progress pics will be taken will be leaving bonnet till last as its a bit of a beast

Looking forward to seeing these OP.

Your van looks great in that colour, but the rear door hinges do stand out a bit!

So, am thinking of an Ivory White textured vinyl roof wrap. The kind of thing they put on a 7.64-litre 1973 Buick Limited. I had one for 5 years and was very fond of it.

Is this do-able, Lotus?

White hinges need painting in black there impossible to wrap and full of grease would never wrap another van tho was a nightmare .

The white looks horrendous would play about with matte black or satin tiny roof on the z4 tho so not a expensive job
