Project Matte black Schnitzer facelift completed

The car is back at my place and i will begin to strip it... in the meantime i'm looking for pieces and probably the car will be fixed around March/may 2013 ;-)
The costs are around €6500 :(
To be honest i was looking to change the complete look of my car wit the carkitinc Kit z4 to z8 conversion, but i think this is not doable, what's your opinion on this...

I know it's not done but hey, i like the look of the z8 ;-)
 
Why would it not be doable? It will sure be a hell of a lot of work but it has been done various times before hasn't it?
 
after having an accident, the car is now at my garage being stripped...
the good news is that it will be repaired around march april.... :dunce:

I'd say some clear headlights and an M bonnet and it will look splendid. For £6k you could get a supercharger... May not look like the z8, but will be as quick!

Hopefully it will be brought back to its former glory........... sad to see the damage.
The previous undented matt /satin finish really show the perfect lines of the car. Superb :thumbsup:

Did a testdrive with the Black Matti yesterday, just a minor problem to solve, then it has to go to the bodyshop and then it can be wrapped... I just hope we have a nice summer ahead :driving:

Really pleased you are restoring it rather than just walking away - true dedication, and a lovely unique car. I see you have taken the opportunity to de-ginger the headlights by going aftermarket too.

Where do you go to get it wrapped? And how much does it cost?

Also, have you had a look at Matte Black plastidip?

Hmmm my ten pence worth....Not sure about the side repeaters and I'm a big fan of the normal boot lid. On the other hand, the matt wrap looks sick and I've got alot of time for those alloys.
Wonder if there is scope in there for a hint of colour somewhere? Thin red line detail somewhere to match the interior? Night rider stylee???
 
Holly batmobiles, it looks awesome! Recon tinted lamps would finnish it off nicely...good job :wink: :thumbsup:
