Looks good tbh

A compliment from El Taco? What is the world coming to?

is it still ok to drive or are just a bit afraid to damage it after all the hard work? i know i would be absolutely bricking it every speed bump and narrow bit with other traffic :D

Would have thought the vents in front of the doors were functional. You planning on removing areas and getting some mesh in there?

Keep it up Brad, all the mods are your personal choice my only gripe with the car is the panel gaps are a bit wonky woo compared to BMWs original straight lines. Especially the door line and the rear bumper!

How did the car drive, did you go over any speed humps?

Also maybe a rear arch vent infront of the rear arch to break up that huge panel?

I'm really struggling to like it, I'll hold my judgement until full photos are uploaded

I know what you mean, I'm not warming to the white. I think that a show car like this needs something bold like a metalic orange or purple to stand out from the norm!?

x2, would love to see a more exotic / attractive paint job. Recession white doesn't really do the rest of the project justic imo. Although I'm sure Brad has something up his sleeve.

Sorry to upset you all but it will be staying white. I am too in love with the whole White on Black theme. I have so much carbon I could reinvest it and build a stealth fighter jet and so much black tint going on the white is the only option I want. It's going to take a BIG chat to convince me to go any other colour... White is just my favourite colour on cars.

So... onto the test drive... all I can say is... wow... that thing is planted. It has ZERO body roll (mostly due to the suspension being non existent) and it corners flat as a pancake (due to the exceptionally wide track) I honestly think if this bodykit was made from fibreglass/foam and this thing had a V12 under the hood it could pass as a time attack car. If only I had around £30,000 to make that happen. :P

It's about the same pace as stock, yes the panels have added weight but with all the weight saving from the seats/exhaust/other mods it's sitting lighter than stock anyway, by around 12kg.

On another note I wanted to end with this video. (not mine) but I really think it puts into perspective how I view my build, the way in which it's just bonkers and has been very DIY from the get go!
