Just caught up with this, great progress. I still don't know if the final verdict will be love it or hate it, but I do so admire all the effort that's gone into it and I'm glad I donated a few quid towards getting it back up and running after the thieves paid a visit.

If you do put a carbon fibre bonnet on, perhaps you should mount the old bonnet on a stand with the names on and some pics as a part of your display :)

Finally, it's almost there!!

Can't say I am a fan of what's been done to it - I love the Z4's lines and these have changed them too much (IMO). I think the Daniella Westbrook nose job and the enclosed wheels were a step too far for my tastes, but I'm intrigued to see how it turns out, and kudos for having the vision (and dedication) to see it through! I was gutted for Brad when the workshop got broken into and everything got stolen ... I feel like this will be a real win for the whole forum once it's finally finished :)

I bet it was el taco who broke into the shop and is now here rubbing it in. But he shut up when he realised how little he kept marmite from finishing. Love it brad! I hope there will be a HQ/HD video of the exhaust and car i :driving:  ts self.

Thanks for all the exciting comments! I too feel your energy! Test drive happens this weekend! .... going to be going VERY SLOWLY, and turning VERY CAREFULLY! and it will be DRY or the test drive isn't happening. I will use this mini drive to assess the feel of the car and if the ride height and other suspension aspects needs to be adjusted before I take it above 50mph. lol

Here is some more eye candy for you.

How much flatting are you gonna do to that paint ?Its got more dimples and dry spots than a cheap hookers arse.

I think you have a week of finishing off to do as yet....

Keep going, the end is in sight..

And your mis-spent youth was consumed counting dimples on a cheap hookers arse ?

Bumpy !

So who the hell is El Taco?
I've seen some contributions (if that's the right description), and the only word that comes to mind is w***er.

I don't know who you are (perhaps you can introduce yourself properly), don't know why you joined, but I would be happy to come and personally explain some forum etiquette to you.

He's been fine recently to be fair. Helpful even! Don't offer to meet him though, he'll only resort to some tedious faux-homo trolling.

Brad's car is looking really exciting now. The only thing that concerns me are the wing mirrors. They don't look quite right now the bodywork has been extended beyond them. Some Testarossa length jobbies are needed to add balance I reckon. Also agree on the paint needing some major cutting, assuming the pics are accurately showing the current finish.
