Horrible rainy, terrible weekend slowed progress down massively... but I am hoping that by next weekend it will have another big push and be somewhat ready to bolt eveyrthing up take a walk around the car and check for imperfections and arrange a paint date.

Well I give 10/10 for persevering.
I really have no idea what will emerge in the end, but interesting to see it keeps getting bigger and wider

Project Marmite has been insured as of January 11th 2014 for £610... everything declared... Adrian Flux... you idiots... lol :fuelfire:

If the car makes it I will take pics as proof !!!

Because fiberglass bodykits are truly terrible, we made our own brackets out of some left over aluminium from the rear bumper.

After covering the bracket with more fiberglass so that it became part of the original bumper the passenger side could be bolted into place and some final shaping work could begin.

This sort of gives you an idea as to how flush it's going to sit when sanded and primed.

Just the driver side left to go!!!! COME ON!

Some truly innovative work there Brad, though you'll have your work cut out to hit a 18th Jan 14 finish.

All the best

Fibreglass is horrible stuff!

Its lovely stuff :D I work with it every day.
I don't agree with how you have done some of the mods but credit on you for giving it a go

From the amount of work you have done already + expense, I would have made a mock up using any material to hand then covered and shaped in clay, then made fibreglass moulds, then made each panel in fibreglass which would then just bolt on with very little finishing work before paint.
I know its all too late now, can't wait to see the finished project though :driving:

Of course!!! I'm still going! I'm sorry I couldn't have it done for the Essex meet! I was gutted! But It will be done for the 18th Jan Santa Pod Paul Walker memorial meet. :)

It will be ready in 15 days?? Hard to believe... :poke:
fingers crossed though!

oh, and as some of us outside the UK cannot go there, we are expecting loads of pics
