If it wasn't your car and you had invested in it with a good heart, would you not want to see the results of your hard earned cash. You took the money, produce the goods for those who believed in you. You can't take people's money and then get an attitude with them when they ask for proof their investment is being spent wisely. ( there isn't a cat amongst the pigeons smiley on the side of my page).

Can't speak for everybody, but I donated to help a fellow forum member who had suffered from a big setback get back up and running again; not as an investment in a car that, if I'm honest, I might want to distance myself from at some point in the future. :D

Can't even call it an investment, we won't get a return. As you say we helped somebody out and in return our names will be on the bonnet (inside)

We all have jobs, and these and other things take priority in life. I can't wait to see it finished, but like Brad I would want it to be 100% before doing the reveal.

will it be ready for christmas?

if so, which christmas lol

If it was your car... would you rush it so that some people (despite how lovely and generous you all are) on a forum could see it when it suited them? Or do it in the correct amount of time so it doesn't drive out of the garage and fall into pieces half way down the street?

Just saying... :poke:

I chucked a few quid at it as a reaction to the thieving scrotes who stole your kit, I'm not going love the result no matter how well it's executed (because I dislike pointless mod's) but I can appreciate good work so you take your time. As I've said before it could be like one of those weird shows where someone perfectly OK goes through hellish cosmetic surgery, it goes horribly wrong and they end up a bloated mess - but I'd love it if you could pull it off and produce something special looking

Slip me some green and I'll sneak round and take some secret pics

No seriously, it'll be ready when it's ready. Be patient! 8)

Ok... since you all asked nicely.

I like that front, removing the centre span on the grills looks excellent

It was all a matter of artistic knowledge... vertical lines on a car that is emphasising extreme width counters the aesthetics so I made the call to ditch it and go for one MAHOOOOOSIVE GRILL!

Looking good Brad

Don't ever crash it though - there will be bits everywhere :P

It definately coming on..

I think the massive grill could look good if executed well..

One thing i will say is,if you ever undertake another project like this, please find a man who is good with sheet metal instead of having all bits of plate tacked in a various places....

How up to date are the pics, it looks like there's still lots to be done?

It's hard to get an idea of the car but will look much better when its painted.

Cutting the vertical grille centre bar is INSPIRED! Great move and to be fair I think its gonna make it look much better! Could well have a few passers by wondering what make it is if you keep the bmwBMW badges off it :)
