There was an old mustang at Duxford that was in a Candy Apple Red (like the car below) but seemed to have an awful lot of mica in it and the combination of the red and the flake pop was spectacular

Seriously. I'm embarrassed for you.

Scrap it and put us out of your misery. :headbang:

I'm going to find out where you live and park it right outside your house... constantly... and even subscribe you to a lifetime membership of the official Project Marmite fan club... in fact you can be honorary member with full privileges including free entry to our annual appreciation dinner held at TACO BELL in your honor.

My opening speech would be a run down of the years work and effort and how none of this could have been possible without the help of EL TACO and his encouraging words. The sheer amount of support this one 'man/mexican food' strives me to not only to better myself but to continue with the car during these tough financial times.

I'm well and truly into the testing phase of the car now, having clocked up around 300 miles since MOT going to and from Beaulie at the German Motor Show and in and around town, there has been very little damage to the car, i've noticed some small hairline cracks occur due to the sheer amount of filler but none are bigger than a finger's length and can be sorted by simply re-inforcing these areas with soft ruber washers on the brackets instead of the metal ones that are being used at present which will allow more give on the bodywork when cornering. I'll use a higher quality sealer to smooth everything down again and then most likely book it in for a wrap as the wrap will be far less expensive and if future cracks occur I can simply re-do the pannel instead of doing the entire car again and I won't have wasted a lot of £££... plus the wrap will be able to stretch somewhat whereas paint won't and minor surface cracks won't be visible beneath the wrap itself, but hopefully none will occur as I don't drive it very fast or aggresively.

Brad...

I have asked before but didnt get an answer....

Why does the sill line behind the front elevate from the A pillar to arch ?

What's not to like. It's a masterpiece.

Just need to be careful that people with small black plastic bags don't pick it up.

I just noticed this on the last pic. Would be much better if it was level with the rest of the sill.

Because this is the point on any car that sits the lowest when going over any speed bumps, i.e. you can approach speed bumps at an angle to get the splitter and front lip over pretty much anything regardless of how low your front bumper is, BUT once you get the lip over as soon as your front wheel drops off the bump the entire undertray of your car is exposed to the bump and thus this curve allows me to sit the car very low without risk of damaging the extended side skirts. then by the time the side skirt is past the worst point the rear wheels grip the bump and lift the rear of the car over the remaining obstacle. It's hard to explain until you see it in action.

What's not to like about it as is?

There's been some mention of a wrap but I think that was from MacDonalds
