If I can add one other thing to Chris_D's tongue in cheek Forum advice:

Never post when pissed. The euphoria of getting it all off your chest in what is perceived at the time to be an erudite and succinct monologue, turns out to be a self-indulgant, sanctimonious, torrent of drivel in the cold light of day.
Also dont post anything if you cant handle other peoples opinions.

+ don't be a " flouncer " ie announce you,ve had enough & that you won't be returning to the forum ( in the vein hope there's a cry for you to stay ) only to keep returning  :P
if you are going just close the door quietly on the way out :P

Is that related in any way to a "flimper"? I think we should be told

Someone's bubble is going to burst and we're going to finish in the top 2.

There's a middle ground to all this and most people sit perfectly happy in it. Unfortunately, when a sensitive soul meets a say what you see the sparks fly. Johnny is not as innocent and as victimised as he makes out. When nearly everyone posting is offering words of wisdom that are ignored it's extremely frustrating so when it does go wrong it's not entirely unfair to not feel sorry for him. Being different for the sake of being different makes no sense to me, although doing something different because it's a cool idea and hasn't been done before does.

PS: Pretty much every thread asking for help receives it so the forum must be doing something right. Try using a Fiesta site full of chavs!

Spot on

...... the strange irony is that Fiesta chavs would actually take the advice if they could get it :P

I think everyone feels sorry for him in the way that no one wishes someone the troubles he had, but indeed if you ignore everybodys advise (also the ones who have hands on experience with fitting FI on a NA car), and you're not very much technically inclined, you can expect to some degree to get taken the piss out of if things go wrong.

I'm still gobsmacked he did all this to a 2.2i (sorry 2.2 owners) why didn't he start with at least a 3.0i and supercharge it If your going to spend that sort of cash?! At least it would have some real go to match all that pig ugly show! :fuelfire:

Johnny Essex the 2nd?!
Well f**k me its mugs like you Steve and the other comment from "Gasman" that I dont post or comment on here anymore, as you all know Ive gone very quite on here the past year or so and this is the first time in ages I've even read a thread and I find this s**t straight away, your just a couple of two faced f***s that talk bollox like a couple of little school girls behind my back.
I just cannot f***ing believe "some" of you boring mugs ARE still going on about why I modded a 2L ( because its not fast ) but then trying a Turbo ( to make it go faster ) .......I cant win and its f***ing pathetic!
Again its "some" members like you are the reason many dont post on this forum but just view same as me now, and also why I do not go to any meets either now, why should I waste my f***ing time, putting on the miles and wear and tear to share my Zed with members like this, when its them that have the boring tatty zeds half the time.
The 2.2L owners take the piss out of the 2L owners, the 2.5L take the piss out of the 2.2L owners, the 3L owners take the piss out of the 2.5L, the ///M owners take the piss out everyone, the E85 owners take the piss out of the E86 owners and vice versa, the E89 owners take the piss out of the E85/86 owners and vice versa, the E89 3.5L owners take the piss out of the other E89 owners, the guys with sport seats take the piss of the SE seat owners, the facelift Zeds take the piss out of the pre facelift owners.....it goes on and on and on and its f***ing boring me now, and I'm affraid and theres a big f***ing difference between banter ( which HAS to be face to face ) and being a two faced tosser ( behind your back when they think you not looking on here anymore ) , and these two guys are just two of the two faced tossers with their remarks.
I will let you all agree/disagree with this all you want, im sure and hope my last comment turns this into a 100 page thread now because thats what I do lol but sadly I wont be reading them tho, and can you believe its been nearly 4 years since I joined.......but now consider this as me leaving the forum on Christmas day.....I guess my last words will be Merry Christmas and I hope 2017 brings the forum changes it needs for the better, to those members I respect, helped and supported me I say thankyou.......this is jonny essex signing off.

At least you haven't taken it to heart

100% agree, whilst I try not to create an "issue" just for the drama if I've got something to be said then it gets said.
I hope the "flouncer" has got his act together and moved on to a happier place.

No alcohol was harmed in the making of this post

you lads give this idiot money???

so he buys a z4, starts trying to modify it, goes horribly wrong gives up, gets another car to try again :D lol f**k me
I for one remember donating something after the mishap, and wanted the kid to succeed. Most of us did. Even though modding isn't my thing, good luck to him, I admire his enthusiasm. Don't understand the personal bashing tbh.
Merry Christmas

sorry it's funny because he got a lot of strangers to give him money for his own hobby which he jacked in and moved on

Yea...

Was over £1000 if i remember correctly..

It was all in the spirit of the forum, and the lad had a load of parts pinched (apparently)... I dont think think for one minute that Brad was any kind of scammer, just misguided, pig headed and daft...

Mind you,if i ever see him i will be asking for my £20 back..
