Project Jigsaw- complete!

This morning YK07WRF went for its first MOT since 2021- and passed

No advisories!

All thats left to do is a few small jobs like regas the aircon

I am now going to enjoy driving it for a while as its the first 3.0si manual roadster I've had...

Some start point memories:

Great achievement you should be proud of yourself putting another one back on the road

Agreed. Feels better to restore than break- especially the 3.0si

Very nice and successful project

Glad to see that the coupe has gone, obviously a midlife crisis that you got over

Great job but careful how you go now don`t want it ending up the same as when you got it :D

Coupe is still here

Mid life existential crisis fully embraced

Nice one.
How big is the pile of left over bits?

Fair I’d say

I was blessed with a stack of nuts/bolts from all the breakers previously so they kind of all merged

Congratulations Stuart.

It's great to see another Z4 rescued, especially a manual 3.0Si given that less than 700 Roadsters came to the UK - so they're almost as rare as MRs!

I'm glad you still have your Coupe too.

It’s an interesting conundrum. I love the coupe (auto) but driving the 3.0si manual roadster it’s a completely different experience altogether

The power flow exhaust is sublime after 4k revs with the top down

I am looking forward to giving it a decent shakedown

I didn't realise your Coupe was an Auto, but that means you really do have some contrasts as in Coupe/Roadster and Auto/Manual!

The soundtrack from my Powerflow back-boxes just gets better as the revs rise too. :D

Maybe you need to keep both!
