You have bonded with it now, like an earth bond

I have spilled blood sweat and a few tears it’s true
The interior looks stunning Stuart. What is it that Olivia doesn’t like about it? Is the red a bit garish. If you do sell it I think the interior will be one of the main attractions.

I’m sure the list will be long and detailed Ian.

In Stuart’s defence, I viewed the car for him and I’ll be honest I’ve sold breakers that were more complete after I’d finished with them!
One small connection is forgivable.

I’m still faffing about with the brake issue

It’s raining so I’m grumpy

New ABS unit didn’t fix it so I’m back to taking each calliper off to see if that is where the issue lies

It’s June and I’m 50/50 about having the heating back on

Saw your tailgate dramas bud

Hope you get it fixed

By jove I think we are closing in

I replaced the ABS/DSC unit and the issue persisted
I checked the non return valve- no issues
Started to look at all the callipers to see if air was trapped; plugged in the pressure bleeder to bleed the brakes again.

Now note that while bleeding with the pressure bleeder, AND with INPA triggering the ABS pump there was no bubbles at all coming through

Started to tap/whack the callipers at the rear with a hammer (favourite tool) and saw bubbles: 10 mins later they had all shifted

Both rears behaved the same- lots of air when whacking them! Fronts fine.

Pedal feels so much better

I have no idea where the air was lodged- but remember they have been off the car for 2 years in a box so I suppose anything is possible

:driving:

I will state the obvious and ask are the calipers on the right way round so that the nipple  is at the highest point as it can be a very easy mistake to put the calipers on the wrong way round . I have done it myself
