Project Cheapskate has left the building

Project Cheapskate is now at its new home and I am the Cheapskate who proudly bought it!

I am absolutely over the moon with my first ever Z4. Picked it up this morning finally after 6months of searching for the right car. Martin has been on the case from the start helping me and advising me which has been a godsend with me being a newbie an all. I have followed the Project Cheapskate story on the forum during the short time I have been a member with great interest and it is a comfort to know that Martin has done lots of work to bring this car back to life again and do the necessary preventative maintenance work needed.

The 100 mile journey back home was probably the best driving experience I have ever had, the car is silky smooth and an amazing ride. My jaw is aching from smiling so much, still grinning now.....what a car!

Big thank you to Martin enuff_zed for his sound advice and for letting me buy his car. I am one happy customer!

No, I am not quite as brave as Martin, I had a leisurely drive home with a few blasts here and there mostly on motorway and A roads and gor a respectable 35mpg! I never expected to get that many miles in a 3.0l. I will drive it properly next time I'm out
