He does have that effect on people. :wink:IRD said:Stuart, you have too much time on your hands. Is this what you call WFH? However, I really enjoy reading your threads and am almost tempted to buy another Z.
Cheers

Stuart, I still think you need to start a sister thread to the 'how many Zeds have you owned' that's been about a while.bigwinn said:Thanks gents- appreciate the comments on the black wheels
Ian- it doesnt feel right that you havent got a Z4- redress the balance and all will be good with the world again!?
As for the spa's, its a very hard job but someone has to do it!
Nice 2.2 for £2k in Eastbourne. Fresh MOT today with no advisories. On Gumtree and FB Marketplace.IRD said:I must admit to being tempted to buy another Z when I read all these interesting and entertaining threads Stuart.. but the reality is if I did it would just languish in the garage. Mind you I am not saying I won’t weaken if I spot a real bargain.
I don’t need any help to get into trouble. One of the problems is I can resist anything but temptation.enuff_zed said:Nice 2.2 for £2k in Eastbourne. Fresh MOT today with no advisories. Truthfully I do but as much as I would enjoy having another I don’t know when I would drive it Iain.Mr Tidy said:IRD said:I don’t need any help to get into trouble. One of the problems is I can resist anything but temptation.
You know you want to Ian!![]()
You must be missing having a Z4 in your life!

Mmmm! I had a look at it. Looks like a decent car for the money. Mileage is on the high side for me. I have very little expertise in the mechanical field. I’m OK at cleaning and polishing. It is tempting though. :roll:enuff_zed said:Nice 2.2 for £2k in Eastbourne. Fresh MOT today with no advisories. I refer you to the previous comment. you're near Stuart. He'd happily help out with maintenance in exchange for you polishing his I bet. (Not a euphemism!!!)IRD said:Mmmm! I had a look at it. Yes I’m really impressed with Stuart’s achievements. He really seems to know what he’s doing. I’m the sort of guy who if I take something apart I end up with spare bits when I put it back together. I have a sneaking feeling that the ‘almost complete project’ will be for sale at a significantly higher price than the Eastbourne car and I can understand why that would be.enuff_zed said:I refer you to the previous comment. you're near Stuart. Having some mechanical knowledge, the mileage is the last thing that puts me off tbh. The engines go forever and the suspension etc is an easy change.
Or if you wanted one with lower mileage and all the jobs done, I know just where there's an almost completed project 2.2.
Oh it's not Stuart's.IRD said:Yes I’m really impressed with Stuart’s achievements. He really seems to know what he’s doing. I guess this is the black one you have listed as one of your current cars. When you are nearer completion let me know what sort of price you are looking for.enuff_zed said:Oh it's not Stuart's.IRD said:Yes I’m really impressed with Stuart’s achievements. All will become clearer as the week progresses.
You've got me thinking. My pump is bare, so would a John Smith's can do ?enuff_zed said:Or go trendy and wrap it with a Red Bull can.
I reckon we could start a new trend. May be too small in diameter, but you could cut them and put the gap out of sight round the back.Zulu4 said:You've got me thinking. My pump is bare, so would a John Smith's can do ?enuff_zed said:Or go trendy and wrap it with a Red Bull can.
