Programming Windows?

Unfortunately I don't have comfort access as I was too mean when speccing

Aready tried holding the open button down and releasing but all that does is commence with roof down and if you let go it will just stop the operation in mid flight.

We don't have comfort access either. Odd that it works for me and not for you. Have you tried releasing the button as soon as the windows start to go down?

On our car, the roof doesn't start moving until the windows are most of the way down.

Btw I may have been slightly wrong. The double click open doesn't drop the windows all the way. The do just go mostly down. As I said it works before opening the door or if you don't click properly it can still be done with door slightly ajar.

this would explain that when its chucking it down and I'm legging it to the car pressing the hell out of the key fob, the windows open most of the way allowing me, passenger and the interior to get even wetter

There seems to be a knack to dropping the drivers window

At first I was double clicking the open button too quickly and nothing happened after opening the door, however if I do 2 firm steady clicks it works and the drivers window drops all the way down bar a couple of inches.

Thanks all the point this out as exactly what I wanted Can't tell you how much easier it is getting into the Zed now at home as its a bit tight parking down the drive. I'm guessing this is the reason why this function has been added due to the way the window curves and slopes back towards you when you open the door. My back is alot happier now

That's exactly the function, to ease your getting into the car in tight spaces. Hence 'comfort opening'.

I reckon I'm going to need this feature! There is a support pillar in my garage just at the wrong place.It's ok in a normal saloon car but the z door is in where the back door of a saloon car is!

My old E85 used to have its roof dropped for me to slide in ( Neck and back problems) It made life a whole lot easier.

Needless to say It had to be dropped to get out of the car as well.
